What Survival Knife is the Best for Your Money?

Survival knives need to have a thick fixed blade that extends into the bottom of the handle. The knife should be easy to grip and have a hole for attaching it to a lanyard. Many manufacturers make great survival knives, but they also have extremely high price tags on them. What knife do you think is the best buy?

  • 5″ Cold Steel Voyager
  • Becker BK2 Campanion Survival Knife
  • Buck 119 Special
  • Buck 184
  • Cold Steel SRK (Survival Rescue Knife)
  • Gerber LMF II Infantry Knife
  • KA-BAR 7″ Fighting/Utility Knife
  • Schrade Urban Extreme Survival Knife
  • Swedish Mora Craftline 511

Which knife would you choose and why? Feel free to add another knife to this list.

  1. I just love the KA-BAR 7″ Fighting/Utility Knife, these days I will also make an review on my blog after I`ll buy it in this weekend.

  2. I actually own and love the Becker BK2 Survival knife. Its a little bit heavier and really is a sturdy knife.

I would add that the Bear Grylls Survival Knife is also a good low cost option. For less than $50 you can get this pretty solid knife as well.
